Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group

Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group

Tuesday 17th July 2018

The Practice will close at 12.30pm for staff training and re-open on Wednesday 18th July at 8am. In the event of a medical emergency please call NHS 111.

FROM 1st JULY 2017

We will no longer be accepting paper prescriptions at the Surgery for processing. All repeat prescription requests will be dealt with by the POD. Please call 0300 131 1100.

You will need to nominate a pharmacy to send your prescription to and call the Practice if you wish to give permission for someone else to call on your behalf.

If you think that this will cause undue problems please address your concerns, in writing, to the Practice Manager.

Dr Stacey Dale will be leaving the Practice on June 20th 2017. We wish her every success at her new Surgery.

Prescription Ordering Direct (POD)

From January 2017 repeat prescription requests will be processed by the NHS Prescription Ordering Direct Service delivered by Dartford, Gravesham & Swanley CCG , helping to  improve care to patients and reduce medicines waste.

You will need to phone the POD service on 0300 131 1100 to order your medicines, instead of phoning or visiting your pharmacy to make an order. The POD will arrange for your prescription to be sent electronically to a pharmacy of your choice and dispensed as normal.

Foundation Year Doctors

This practice has been accredited as being suitable for the training of Foundation Year 2 (FY2) doctors which means we have achieved a number of standards which have been assessed by Health Education England.

These Qualified doctors are gaining experience of General Practice before finalising their career specific pathway and they will have slightly longer consultation times. If you would prefer to see one of our regular GP's and not see an FY2 please let the reception staff know.

We hope you will support us in this training of our NHS colleagues.

We will shortly be using a text messaging service to remind patients of their appointments and to invite them to book for various clinics. Please make sure that we have your correct mobile number. If you wish to opt out of this service please do so at Reception.

Lunchtime Closure

From Monday 16th May 2016 the Surgery will be closed from Monday to Friday between 12.30pm and 1.30pm.

Named Allocated GP
